maman stands for “mother” in french. our founders were inspired by their time in the kitchen with their very own “mamans” when naming the cafe.

no, maman is walk-in only. if you’d like to book a private event or a group booking for groups 8 or more, please reach out to our events team. all events require a 2 week minimum notice.

maman serves a variety of seasonal french influenced cuisine. menus may vary per location, please visit your desired location to view the menu.

maman is a laptop free environment. we don’t offer wifi, but we do offer freshly baked cookies and a relaxing atmosphere! reading, chatting, & daydreaming is encouraged… make a new friend or call your maman!

customers can place food and beverage orders online or through the maman app. download it now in the app store or visit our website to place your order. pickup and delivery options are available. if you are looking for a retail item, visit our online shop page. our app is currently available for our u.s. locations only.

no, maman is not a kosher establishment. 

yes, we do have gluten friendly options. select locations offer individually wrapped gluten free sweet treats courtesy of sans bakery. in addition, our servers will be happy to direct you in the correct direction to find the best gluten friendly menu options. we use the term "gluten friendly" as we do use gluten in our kitchen. if you have any specific gluten related questions, please feel free to contact us at bonjour@mamannyc.com.

yes we do offer electronic gift cards. we have two types of gift cards - one type to purchase our retail items and another type to purchase our food items at one of our locations or through our app/website.
