our favorite running joke is that the best mimosas contain 1% juice and 99% champagne—but given how delicious this strawberry mimosa is, we just might change our tune.
cocktails often receive a bad rap for being overly complicated {& in some cases intimidating— re: gimlets} but with just a handful of ingredients and no special materials required, this mimosa is one of our favorite, low-stress, happy hour & brunch appropriate drinks.
for this particular recipe, we recommend using alain milliat’s strawberry nectar, the same brand served in our cafés. however, feel free to substitute out with whichever brand is available to you— you could even experiment with making your own from fresh strawberries!

add strawberry nectar into a flute or a glass of your choosing & top with sparkling wine or champagne. add a splash of rose water and optionally garnish with a dried rose bud. serve immediately and enjoy. santé!
